Alan Kersh

Alan Kersh joined TGM as an Acquisitions Officer in February 2007. His activities are focused on sourcing, negotiating and structuring acquisitions of multi-family housing complexes on a nationwide basis.

Mr. Kersh comes to TGM with over twenty years of M&A and investment banking experience. Before joining TGM, he was engaged in all aspects of domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, workouts and restructurings on behalf of owners of residential, hotel, office and leisure assets as well as middle market corporations. Most recently, Mr. Kersh was President of Savoy Capital Advisors Inc., a boutique investment banking firm. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President with McDonald Investments’ investment banking group and Vice President of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd.’s (formerly Sanwa Bank Ltd) Merchant Banking Group. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kersh was a Manager with Deloitte & Touche’s Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory Services Group and a corporate lawyer with Golenbock, Eiseman, Assor and Bell.

Mr. Kersh is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Miami School of Law. He is a Certified Public Accountant and an Attorney.
